Comments: I watched Stobe for maybe a month and was fascinated as he reminded me of my crew, only trainhopping at the same time.I thought, maybe they just faked his death as some kind of plea bargain but I'm sorry for the reality. I wish I had something profound to say, Stobe personality was that kind of person you want to good by and warrants respect.IMHO. I will always try to make my car stand out because of his opinion on the matter. Peace.

Comments: Stobe, We'll miss you buddy. I am very sad that news. You were a real and unique thing. Although I've never met you personally, you were like a brother to me! Thanks for replies my messages on youtube. Stobe, I was one of first subscribers looking forward for yours episodes. Inspired by you, I enjoy the simpler things in life - survival hiking. Jim will live on thru your videos. Thank you... R.I.P.

Comments: Still watching his videos I came across this link. Look up this song: Sean Rowe - "To Leave Something.. Behind".. Missed by many all over the world, I think it's pretty amazing what he has achieved with his videos.. Jim really left something behind.
Stobe.. rest in peace brother..

Comments: As one of Jim's few female viewers I longed for him to have a female companion that shared his passion for the rails. His departure from Missoula, Montana on Valentine's Day of 2017 tugged at my heart as Jim gave his reasons why woman just weren't into his lifestyle. Well, I'll just have to write a fictional novel and that lady lands right in his lap. Of course, thinly veiled with the names changed to protect the innocent and what not. Jim deserved a better ending than Baltimore.
I'll miss your "Stobieisms" and your witty commentary. Mostly, I'll miss you.
I hope you find love on that Westbound.
