Comments: Thanks for all the info. Hopefully will put a stop to the rumors. Anyhow, really rough hearing about Stobe. Been watching his stuff for a while, supported him on Patreon/ when he got tickets, etc. Was one of the few people in life with something actually unique or novel to say. I don't really care about most people's ideas/ opinions, but I cared about his. What a shame. Thanks again for putting this on the web.

Comments: Jim Stobe was a highly educated, very articulate, accomplished pianist, veteran of the USCG and talented video producer. His was passionate about riding the rails and his passion came through in his videos. One can only wonder if his passion and drive for the rails came from a previous life as a 'bindle stiff'. He enriched our lives while living his dream. May God rest his soul.

Comments: I found Stobe's youtube channel just recently and was excited that there were recent uploads. Now i learn there will be no more uploads. I'm sad because it felt like i got to know him through his channel. Nobody deserves death, but it comes for us all. RIP Stobe, I'll drink a steelie for you.
